A glance at the well-worn passports of Orrin Bolton Reveals years of travel through such exotic destinations as Bombay, Katmandu and Kabul. Orrin's inclination as an adventurer kept him off the beaten path for so long, he once said, "My mystique was so complete, no one knew I existed!" Although Orrin has been featured alongside
his pop superstar brother Michael Bolton in People Magazine and other
publications, it comes as a surprise to many that Orrin, who has
co-written songs and recorded on three labels with Michael, is a powerful
singer and songwriter in his own right. In past years, Orrin has collaborated with Michael on a series of musical projects. In Jamaica, Orrin added finishing touches to several of his reggae tunes in time to perform "Please Come Home," penned by Michael, on the Oprah Winfrey show. After recording "Take A Vacation", Orrin returned to Europe in November to perform live at Amsterdam's Melkweg Club in a tribute to the memory of the late Bob Marley. Other performers included Rita Marley and her family. Orrin is also the author of two books: "Confessions of a Soda Jerk", designed to aid young people in confronting and overcoming hard drug abuse; and "Brother to Brother", a true-life work based on the adventures of two brothers and their odyssey from Afghanistan's Khyber Pass to the "rock 'n roll highway." ©2010 All rights reserved.
